Our Story

My Journey to Becoming a {HOME LOAN COUNSELOR}

From a young age, I was fascinated by numbers and the role they played in shaping people's lives. Growing up, I often saw my parents navigate financial challenges, and I realized how impactful proper financial guidance could be. This passion led me to pursue a career in banking, where I spent [X years] working in various roles with {SBI].

During my tenure, I worked in different departments—loans, customer service, and financial planning—gaining hands-on experience with how banks operate. I interacted with countless customers from all walks of life, each with unique financial needs and dreams. This is where I truly understood the importance of personalized advice, especially in the area of loans.

One particular moment stands out in my career. I remember helping a young couple who were overwhelmed by the complicated process of securing a home loan. With my guidance, they not only secured their loan but did so under favorable terms that made it manageable for them to repay. Seeing the relief and gratitude in their eyes made me realize how much of a difference I could make by helping others understand their financial options better.

As I neared retirement, I started thinking about how I could continue contributing my knowledge to the community. While I was ready to step away from the demands of a full-time banking role, I wasn’t ready to let go of my passion for helping people. This led me to my current role as a loan counselor.

Being a loan counselor has given me the unique opportunity to focus on the part of banking I love the most—helping people.
